Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst plays a vital role in managing the organization’s financial assets and optimizing cash flow, ensuring effective treasury and cash management operations. This position reports to and assists the Director of Treasury and Administration, providing support in daily treasury functions and cash management needs. Responsibilities include accurate journaling of cash flow transactions and the recording of receipts and other bank activities in close coordination with accounts receivable and the remaining treasury team. Familiarity with company flow charts is required to guarantee funds are processed according to established procedures. The Treasury Analyst also assists with internal/external payables.

Report directly to and provide ongoing assistance to the Director of Treasury and Administration with the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the treasury team to record receipts and other bank transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Review and interpret company flow charts to ensure funds are processed in line with organizational procedures.
  • Journalize cash flow transactions, maintaining clear records of all cash movements.
  • Utilize the Kyriba treasury management system to monitor, manage, and reconcile company bank accounts.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with banks.
  • Assist in managing daily cash positions and optimizing funds for operational needs.
  • Assist in processing weekly and monthly accounts payable items, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and intercompany parties.
  • Work with intercompany payables and settlements for prompt resolution of internal obligations.
  • Provide documentation and respond to audit and review inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and improve cash management processes/technology utilization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Yardi is preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with the Kyriba treasury management system is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • MBA is a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, integrity, and a commitment to understanding company flow charts and processing funds in accordance with organizational procedures, while leveraging technology—such as Kyriba—to support the financial stability and growth of the organization in direct partnership with the Director of Treasury and Administration.
