Race at the Milwaukee Mile
IndyCar returned to Wisconsin at the Milwaukee Mile today, where Santino Ferrucci placed fourth in the No. 14 Phoenix Investors Chevrolet of A.J. Foyt Enterprises. Pato O’Ward placed first followed by Will Power, Conor Daly, and Ferrucci; Alex Palou rounded out the top 5. After starting Saturday’s race in Row 10, Santino fought his way through the 250 laps to finish in fourth. The green flag waved at 6:05 PM Saturday evening and the race, which aired on Peacock, lasted for 250 laps around the Milwaukee Mile—which is actually slightly over a mile at 1.015 miles per lap, bringing the total race distance to 253.75 miles.
Due to his performance today, Ferrucci will start tomorrow’s race, also at the Milwaukee Mile, in row 6. The green flag waves tomorrow, Sunday, September 1, at 1:30 PM, and the race will again be streaming on Peacock.
