Facilities Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

As a Facility Maintenance Technician (1st shift), you will be a crucial asset in maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. Your diverse expertise in mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance will ensure the smooth operation of our industrial site and contribute to its long-term success.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) on various mechanical systems site-wide.
  • Address various facility maintenance needs, including equipment plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, coil brazing, rebuilding pumps, basic mechanical system servicing, and low-voltage electrical repairs.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Record maintenance activities accurately, including PMs, repairs, and inspections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is advantageous
  • Minimum of 10 – 12 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a job within the construction field
  • Familiarity with using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs, including pipe threaders, hydraulic presses, welders, grinders, oxygen-acetylene torches, and multimeters
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt

Compensation: Pay $25 – $35 per hour. Compensation commensurate with experience.
