POSITION OVERVIEW

Phoenix Construction is looking to add an HVAC Technician to our team in Milwaukee, WI. A successful HVAC Technician will possess a solid understanding of forced air products and a working knowledge of boilers, air handlers, and construction.

  • Repairing and maintaining forced air products, boilers, and air handlers
  • Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly
  • Inspecting equipment and systems to identify problems or issues
  • Performing routine maintenance on building systems
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing forced air products with working knowledge of boilers & air handlers
  • Ability to stand on feet for 8 – 10 hours per day and lift 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working on roofs
  • Able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces
  • Light electrical knowledge
  • Understanding of construction
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies
  • Willingness to travel (if needed)
  • EPA Certification or open to obtaining it (paid by company)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be a team player
  • 5 years of HVAC Technician service experience
  • Electrical or HVAC technical degree preferred
  • EPA Certification (a plus)
  • Starting at $25/hour; pay to be determined based on skills, certifications, and experience
  • Paid training, holidays, and vacations
