As in years past, Phoenix Investors has extended a gift of $100,000 in matching funds to Milwaukee’s Pathfinders, a local nonprofit that dedicates itself to “Empowering Youth and Changing Lives.” Phoenix has offered to match donations raised by the 501(c)(3), up to $100,000 for their annual holiday fundraising effort.
In an official letter from Pathfinders, their Senior Member of Individual Giving Michelle Strode includes:
“[Phoenix Investors’] generosity allows Pathfinders to meet young people where they are and connect them with resources that can lead them to a better future. Pathfinders provides anti-sexual violence services, a youth shelter, street outreach, supported housing, mental health services, employment resources, help with educational goals, and access to basic needs like food and clothing. We also work collaboratively to prevent homelessness and improve systems.”
Strode concludes the letter in stating that our entire community grows stronger when our young people thrive and feel supported. It is the basis of Phoenix Investors’ Giving Back pledge to offer both hope and healing to our communities through thoughtful contributions such as this one.
They are located at 4200 N Holton Street, Suite 400 in Milwaukee; learn more about Pathfinders’ mission and how to engage with the community by visiting pathfindersmke.org.
