Milwaukee-based commercial real estate firm Phoenix Investors announced it intends to renovate the former, blighted Northridge Mall on Milwaukee’s north side and repurpose it for industrial or light industrial use. Phoenix Investors agreed to purchase the property from Black Spruce Enterprise Group Inc. on March 16, 2023; the former mall has been vacant for decades. Director of Acquisition & Leasing Patrick Dedering sat down with the Milwaukee Business Journal in an exclusive interview to discuss details of the project, as well as anticipated plans for future use, which could potentially create hundreds of jobs for the community.
